my story
I knew I had a passion for food when i was about 10 years old . I used to trot along with my mum down to her "Mama Cookie Cook Shop" in Gutters Old Harbour St Catharine Jamaica where she used to cook for trailer drivers on their way to and from work. She taught me to cook all kinds of Caribbean food "Fried Chicken" "Rice And Peas" , "Curry Goat" , "Callaloo and Salt Fish with green Banana" from her breakfast Menu. I helped prep and learn the recipes of all the great Jamaican Food from my mum "Mama Gray (Cookie)" who is now 92. I can still rely on her for help with recipes and ideas when needed.
